When the call went out for help in bringing opera to San Miguel, the response was amazing. San Miguelenses and those who have adopted San Miguel de Allende as their home responded with enthusiasm and generosity in remarkable numbers. Their continued support and loyalty have made the growth of Ópera de San Miguel and its Concurso a huge National success!

Of course, not everyone is able to support us at the Angel level, so we created The FAN Club, taking as our symbol the beautiful Spanish fan that might have been carried by Carmen as she entered the bull ring, a remembrance of our first ever opera in San Miguel staged for the entire community in our local bull ring!
